FIREMEN RALLY

Dear Sirs,
Expo Silesia Sp. z o.o. - in collaboration with the Executive Board of the Polish Voluntary Fire Brigade Association (ZOSP RP) and the Foundation "Edukacja i Technika Ratownictwa EDURA", and with the support of the Regional Branches of ZOSP RP in Katowice and Krakow - would like to invite you to the FIRE BRIGADE RALLY that will take place in the EXPO SILESIA Exhibition Centre in Sosnowiec on 27-29 August 2010.
The rally is organised for the fire brigade environment and the participants will include members of voluntary and professional fire brigades, National Fire Brigade officers as well as representatives of rescue services responsible for public safety.
The rally will be accompanied by an exhibition of fire and rescue equipment as well as fire safety devices; manufacturers of the above are invited to participate in the exhibition.
The event is aimed at:
- Integrating the fire-fighting environment and other rescue services, as well as creating a platform for their closer collaboration and exchange of experiences,
- Presenting new technical solutions to increase public safety and improve the quality and safety of the fire services' work,
- Presenting history and development of rescue techniques in the fight with fire,
- Offering joint entertainment and sport competition to the rally's participants and an attractive performance to the audience,
- Creating a platform for institutions and persons who care about public safety,
- Popularising safety regulations in everyday life and presenting effective ways to eliminate sudden threats and disasters.
Participants of the event:
- Authorities of local government of the Śląskie Voivodeship
- Representatives of the Voluntary and National Fire Brigade units from all Poland
- Representatives of other services from the region and all Poland
The programme will include:
- Rally and presentation of the most active Voluntary Fire Brigade units from south Poland
- Exhibition of equipment used by the National and Voluntary Fire Brigade units
- Exhibition of fire and rescue equipment as well as fire safety devices
- Trade conference
- Firemen's feast with culinary attractions
- Fire brigade orchestras and a star concert
- Presentation of the fire brigade rescue units in action
- Sport and fire safety competition for the Voluntary Fire Brigade teams
