On 24-26 September, the Exhibition Centre Expo Silesia  provided a venue for the Machine Tools and Processing Technology Trade Fair TOOLEX.
What made this fair event an impressive success was the enormous potential of the market, state-of-the-art exhibition facility, and well-qualified staff.
During these three days in September, the hall of Expo Silesia hosted 125 exhibitors from 15 countries (China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, USA), with products offered by 300 companies from all over the world being displayed.

The exhibition stands, which took up a total space of 3,304 m², featured more than 250 various metalworking machines in operation. The large scale of this project can be testified by the data: the total weight of exhibited machines exceeded 525 tons, with 2.1 MW of power having been consumed.

The first day of the Fair was concluded with an official banquet, with awards for the most impressive presentation and for the most interesting stand arrangement being presented. The awards were given to the Trumpf and the Machine Tools International companies.

The Fair attracted large numbers of visitors, including 3,128 registered industry professionals.

Thus, the 1st metal working and metal machining fair held in Sosnowiec proved that the excellent infrastructure - with the hall designed for displaying heavy machines - and professional services will boost expectations and requirements relating to events held on the exhibition market.  It was highly appreciated by the exhibitors of  TOOLEX this year; most of them have already expressed their intention of participating in the next Fair. The organizers are convinced that many more companies will contribute to the enlargement of their exhibitor portfolio, thus making this fair even more significant for the industry.

The success made by the first TOOLEX fair has led us on to believe that it will become a permanent element in the calendar of fair events dedicated to metalworking equipment and machine tools.

Simultaneously with the TOOLEX fair, EXPO Silesia was a venue for the Fair of Rubber and Plastics Processing Industries RubPlast EXPO.

The next TOOLEX fair will be organized on  23 - 25 September 2009.
