Sosnowiec as the centre of metal working

More than 375 machines in operation, nearly 1,000 represented brands, 1,000 tons of equipment presented, record size of the presentation area in three exhibition halls – these are just some of the elements that, once again, confirm that the 7th TOOLEX Fair is Poland’s most dynamic and the largest event of its kind in autumn.

This year's TOOLEX International Trade Fair for Machine Tools, Tools and Processing Technology, which took place from 30 September to 2 October, certainly experienced not only the historically largest number of exhibitors and brands presented, but, most importantly, the largest number of visitors. More than 8,500 industry professionals had the opportunity to explore the stands with the offer of nearly 500 exhibitors, which certainly satisfied the trade fair visitors. It is worth noting that this year's edition was supported by entirely new organisations, such as the Central Office of Measures, the KOMAG Institute of Mining and the Eastern Metalworking Cluster, as well as by regular partners, such as the Silesian University of Technology and Technical Universities in Kraków, Łódź, Gdańsk, Rzeszów and Wrocław, and the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT), the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, the Institute of Precision Engineering, the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, engineering associations and many others.  As in the previous editions, the TOOLEX fair was accompanied by events supplementing the industry topics: 7th WIRTOTECHNOLOGIA International Trade Show for Virtual Processing Tools and Methods, a meeting addressed to industries related to process virtualisation, engineering design, CAD/CAM/CAE. The second edition of the LaserEXPO Laser Technology Fair was also held, as it is closely related to the subject of metal working and tools for the industry.
The event once again hosted industry leaders and many representatives of the Polish machine tool industry.  TOOLEX also featured many first-time exhibitors who entered the Sosnowiec event to their exhibition calendar.
