     365 exhibitors from over 20 countries

     More than 600 brands represented

     260 machines in operation, weighing over 650 tons

Sosnowiec as a centre of metal working in Poland

More than 260 machines in operation, nearly 600 represented brands, 650 tons of equipment presented, a record size of the presentation area - are just some of the elements once again confirming that the 6th TOOLEX Fair is the most dynamic and the largest event of its kind during the autumn in Poland.


This year's International Trade Fair for Machine Tools, Tools and Processing Technology TOOLEX certainly experienced not only the largest number of exhibitors and brands presented in its history, but also the largest number of visitors. More than 8,500 industry professionals for three days (from 1 to 3 October) had the opportunity to see the offers of over 365 exhibitors that certainly satisfied the visitors to the Fair.  TOOLEX was again accompanied by the meeting dedicated to industries related to virtualisation processes and engineering design, CAD/CAM/CAE - WIRTOTECHNOLOGIA. Also, the first edition of the Laser Technology Fair LaserEXPO was held simultaneously to the Fair, closely related to the subject of metal working and tools for the industry.


The event again brought together industry leaders such as FANUC, SCHUNK, DMG Mori Seiki, MTI, Agie Charmilles, Abplanalp, Sandvik, FAT HACO, MS Spinex, STIGAL and many representatives of the Polish machine tool industry as AVIA, FANAR, FENES, AFM, VISŁA.  TOOLEX also featured many first-time exhibitors in the Sosnowiec event. These included, among others: CHIRON POLSKA, CHOFUM Obrabiarki, PRAMET, CT MACRO, GALIKA, APLIKOM, WENZEL GROUP.
As in the part, trade show awards were given out. Medals were awarded to the following companies: Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology for the Electrical Discharge Micro Cutter MW50; STIGAL for 5-axis head MULTI-3D, CARL ZEISS for opto-tactile coordinate measuring machine O-INSPECT 322 and SANDVIK Polska for the new cutting blade type GC4325. Medals were also awarded to 3DConnection for SpaceMouse Wireless and UIBS Teamwork for innovative production management system IPOsystem.  Prizes and awards for the best exhibition were given out. During the Fair there was a meeting of the trade mission organised by UBIFRANCE and Silesia Automotive Cluster Conference on "Modern Materials Processing Technologies in the Automotive and Machinery Industries", where lectures were delivered by representatives of such major companies cooperating with Automotive as KOPEX Group, Sandvik Polska, KOMAG, Plasma System.  Czech Trade was this year's supporting partner, which helped in the establishment of the Czech business area.


The next edition of the Fair will be held on September 30 - October 2, 2014. Status of applications at the moment foreshadows another successful edition.
