Ladies and Gentlemen,

The third edition of the conference "Together for a Safer Region" will be held between June 9^th and 10^th, 2010 at the Expo Silesia Exhibition Centre in Sosnowiec; the event is organised by the Regional Police Headquarters in Katowice, the Silesian Voivode and the Mayor of Sosnowiec. The conference will be accompanied by the exhibition "Technology for Public Safety".

Various security measures will be presented during the two days of the exhibition and Conference, including alarm and visual monitoring systems, data protection systems, Internet networks, their certification and protection, access control as well as equipment used by the Police, Municipal Guards, security firms and Fire Brigade.

We invite the following to participate in the third edition of the Exhibition and Conference:

• local self-government authorities of the Silesian Voivodeship responsible for creating security systems,
• chiefs of Police, Municipal Guards and Border Guards,
• Members of the Polish and of the European Parliament,
• representatives of science and of public benefit organisations.
