State-of-the-art corrosion protection methods and technologies, corrosion resistant materials, as well as consequences of incorrect preventive measures will be shown at the 2nd edition of the Fair for Corrosion Protection SURFPROTECT.

The range of exhibited products and services will encompass, among other things, organic and inorganic anti-corrosion coatings, chemical and mechanical methods of preparing corrosion resistant surfaces, methods of temporal and electrochemical corrosion protection, coating equipment and technologies; inspection, testing, adjustment and automation of anti-corrosion coating processes.

The 1st edition of SURFPROTECT attracted visitors and exhibitors from Poland as well as from Germany, France, Sweden and Great Britain. The exhibition, organized in co-operation with the Institute of Precision Mechanics and the Polish Corrosion Association, was held on 14 - 16 March at the Expo hall in Łódź..

In 2008, the fair will be held at Expo Silesia - a state-of-the-art exhibition centre of Expo Silesia located in the city of Sosnowiec. The exhibition will be accompanied by a well-stocked programme of presentations, seminars and conferences. One of the conferences will be organized by Institute of Precision Mechanics "Spray metal coating for corrosion protection".
