Satisfied exhibitors, successful business contacts and good attendance of more than 6 thousands specialists is the shortest summary of the event. SteelMET is the only event in Poland focused on steel and non-ferrous metals - the process of production, processing and distribution.

The biggest conference for steel industry in Poland,
‘Steel market in Central and Eastern Europe’ organized by the Polish Association of Steel Stockholders, took place on the second day of fair.
Conference was organized under the auspices of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Waldemar Pawlak. The event gathered around 300 representatives of metallurgical industry as well as building, energetic, white goods and financial ones. Presentations dedicated to the situation of Polish and European steel distribution sector constituted the main part of the conference.
'Inter-industrial Cooperation for the Future', the accompanying event organized by the Polish Steel Association, took place on the first day of SteelMET Fair. Producers of steel products, coke, energy and representatives of branches using steel participated in this event. The discussion focused mainly on the matter of power engineering in metallurgy sector and innovative infrastructural investments in Poland.
