In April and May 2008,  it will be the third time that the International Medical Career Days will be held, a fair event taking place in five cities in Poland.

For a few years, we have seen the Polish medical labour market being more and more competitive. Membership of the European Union and thousands of job offers in almost all EU countries, in addition to the fast growth of the private sector of medical services have resulted in medical professionals becoming increasingly valuable and sought after on the market.
Polish medical professionals have been successfully employed in all European countries, being held in high esteem for their qualifications and all-round skills. Language incompetence is also becoming a thing of the past, which results in new job and career opportunities practically all over the world.

Medical Career Days also features job offers on the Polish market, both in state-owned and private institutions, as well as in the rapidly growing clinical testing sector, in which Poland is becoming the European leader. 

Medical Career Days is currently Europe's largest job fair dedicated to the medical and pharmaceutical industries, during which tens of Exhibitors will present job offers in Poland, practically all European countries and many other countries. Many of these exhibitors are German leading clinics offering jobs all over Germany to medical specialists as well as to medical doctors who have received their post-graduate training, with prospects for specialty degrees in practically all fields.

The first Medical Career Days fair was held in April 2007 in Katowice, Warsaw and Poznań, attracting a large number of visitors. The second fair, which took place in October 2007, confirmed the usefulness and necessity of such a specialist fair event facilitating employment and professional development in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. 

Medical Career Days is aimed at medical doctors, pharmacists, dentists, nurses, and other medical and health care professionals. Students of the above mentioned faculties have an opportunity to become acquainted with current trends and prospects for the future on Europe's medical markets. Everyone will have a chance to establish valuable professional contacts.
As in previous years, the Medical Career Days is accompanied by many conferences addressing issues related to the European labour market, residency programme in the USA, learning 'English in medicine', as well as developing a medical CV or preparing for a job interview.
