More than 15,000 satisfied visitors, over 1,000 most beautiful pigeons, more than 130 exhibitors from Poland, Holland, Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Norway and China - these are the figures which provide a preliminary summary of the 1st International Fair of Racing Pigeons EXPOGołębie, which was successfully organized by Expo Silesia. The Fair was accompanied by the 58th National Exhibition of Racing Pigeons, organized by the Polish Association of Racing Pigeon Breeders. This event, a real festival of pigeon breeders, was held at the Exhibition Centre Expo Silesia  in Sosnowiec - Poland's most modern trade fair facility.

The exhibitors were mainly producers and distributors of supplements, medicines, feed, cleaning products, and dovecotes. The enthusiasts of racing pigeons had an opportunity to become acquainted, among others, with services offered by veterinary companies, trade publications, as well as with state-of-the-art electronic and transport systems designed for pigeon breeders.

During the 58th National Exhibition of Racing Pigeons,  900 pigeons of unusual beauty were put on display. Both the Fair and Exhibition featured presentations of  Olympic Champions and winners of the General Championship of Poland.
