The first edition of ExpoBeton, the Fair of Technologies, Manufacturing and Use of Concrete and the second edition of INFRA-Meeting, the Fair of Building Machines, Equipment and Technology for Infrastructure, were attended by almost twenty five hundred visitors. These two trade fairs at the Expo Silesia Exhibition Centre in Sosnowiec gathered 65 exhibitors from Poland, Italy and the Netherlands.

Representatives of concrete-related industries, ranging from the preparation of materials, through production technology, to ideas for its implementation, presented their offers at ExpoBeton. It was the first edition of this type of fair in Poland. Manufacturers of concrete accessories, concrete paving blocks, various types of machines as well as representatives of informatics laboratories and design studios were present. One of the exhibits which met with great reception was the Sermac Extreme 5Z41 concrete pump, an absolute hit on the European market.

Exhibition pavilions were filled with various types of excavators, rollers, semi-trailers and trailers, equipment and materials for the construction of roads, bridges, viaducts, tunnels, petrol stations as well as machines and equipment for earthwork or for the production and transport of concrete. This year's edition of the fair also included offers related to the improvement of road safety. The fair was accompanied by an important event  -  this year’s only edition of the National Convention of Voivodship Roads Authority Directors in the Silesian Voivodship.
