Fair of Agriculture and Forestry AGROSILESIA 2009

The first, not only in Expo Silesia, but in the whole Silesian Province, Fair of Agriculture and Forestry AGROSILESIA was visited by about 4.000 visitors. The Fair was opened by Artur Ławniczak, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
- I am sure that Agrosilesia will grow with each edition of the fair – said Mr. Ławniczak.

120 companies from Poland and abroad participated in the Fair of Agriculture and Forestry AGROSILESIA. The visitors had a chance to see more than 50 tractors made by renown companies inside the hall as well as in the outdoors exhibition area, on a total area of 10.000 sqm, as well as 214 pieces of agricultural machinery (including: Agrimaster, Agroma Świerklaniec, Bear Cat, Bell Laboratories, Case, Chempest, Demmler, Deutz-Fahr, Dorn-Tec, Expom, Extech, Farmtrac, Fockersperger Gmbh, Jcb, Jensen, Lamborghini, Marchner, New Holland, Pottinger, Pronar, Trejon, Ursus, Veriga, Weidemann, Zetor).
Also, forestry machines, mixers, crushers, feeders, mowers, baggers, sprayers, machines and equipment for gardening, saws, band saws and vintage tractors were shown.  Exhibitors also included manufacturers and distributors of fertilizers, pesticides, forestry clothing, gardening plants. A number of conferences, shows, sampling of traditional dishes and performances by folk groups accompanied the Fair.
AGROSILESIA was dedicated to farmers, breeders, fruit farmers, foresters, allotment gardeners, gardeners. Every involved in one of the above was able to get help and advice of such institutions like the Agricultural Market Agency, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture, Agricultural Property Agency or Agricultural Social Insurance Fund.
Co-organizer of the AGROSILESIA Fair was the Silesian Chamber of Agriculture.
The second edition of the Fair of Agriculture and Forestry will be held on 24 - 25 April 2010.
